Suz
Suzanne Reynolds-Warnes VN Head Nurse

Suzanne started nursing in 1992 at a veterinary practice in Leeds, she went on to qualify in 1996. She joined Paws Inc. in 1996 when the practice was originally owned by Kevin Sullivan. Suzanne became Head Nurse for the clinic in 2004.

Suzanne enjoys all aspects of medical nursing, with particular interests in diabetic care and nutritional advise. Having owned a diabetic cat herself Suzanne understands the care and commitment needed from owners when looking after a diabetic animal.

Suzanne lives in Lincolnshire with her partner, six cats, three dogs, seven chickens and a Koi fish pond, her dedication to the Paws Inc team has her travelling to London on a weekly basis.

Suzanne was nominated for, and won Veterinary Nurse of the Year in 2004 by the clients and her work colleagues, an achievement of which she is very proud.


Shannon
Shannon Brown - Senior Veterinary Technician

Shannon qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in New Zealand in 2000. She continued to work there for four years before moving to Sydney, Australia for 18 months. Shannon soon caught the travel bug and moved to the UK in 2005. Since moving to the UK Shannon has worked in small animal Veterinary clinics around London.

Shannon joined the Paws Inc. team in September 2009. Her commitment to the job will always be maintained by her interest in animal welfare.

In her spare time Shannon enjoys keeping fit, travelling and cooking for friends.


 
Jess Wakely RVN - Senior Supervisory Nurse

Jess began training as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999 at Battersea Dogs' and Cats' Home. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2001 and throughout her time at Battersea Dogs' and Cats' Home gained experience in many areas of nursing. In 2003 Jess qualified as a Veterinary Nursing Assesor which enabled her to help student Veterinary Nurses gain their qualifications.

Jess has a special interest in pet nutrition and has achieved her Pet Health Counsellor qualification.

Jess joined the Paws Inc. team in April 2011 and is excited to experience another side of nursing.

In her spare time Jess enjoys spending time with her Cocker Spaniel "Jasper"


Sally
Sally Cowley - Animal Nursing Assistant

In December 2007 Sally's passion for animal care found her making a career change from working in a photographic printing shop. In order to gain more experience Sally travelled to Thailand and spent three months volunteering in an animal rescue centre.

Upon her return to the UK Sally started working in a Veterinary clinic and enrolled on an Animal Nursing Assistant course which she completed in June 2009.

Sally joined the Paws Inc. team in July 2010 as our animal care assistant, and continues to further her knowledge of all nursing aspects with a particular interest in laboratory work.

In her spare time Sally enjoys Yoga, Cycling and spending time with her Mastiff cross dog "Maxi", two cats "Tilly" and "Tiger" and rats "Chang" and "Luna".
